Welcome to the new IFUW Blog, which we present to you as part of IFUW’s redesigned website. We have been hard at work on the website and are excited to finally be able to share it with you.
The structure of the new version of the website allows you to quickly access the latest news, updates and official communications. Important programme information is just one click away. We have also tried to make the site more interactive and we encourage members to share their views here on the IFUW Blog or on the IFUW Bulletin Board.
We hope that the website redesign has brought a fresh, more modern look to IFUW’s online presence and that it will make this tool even more useful to you. To help us keep the website up-to-date, we invite you to send news and photos of your activities with us so that we can add them to the website.
For now, take a look around and then come back here and leave a comment telling us what you think. We look forward to hearing your feedback!
It was great to meet our IFUW President, Louise Croot, at the Canadian Federation of University Women AGM this weekend in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

As Reka Fogarasi asked me to react on the website I’ll enter a comment, although I am not an expert on education and never ”blog”.
What I find very important to all women, is that they know about their own rights. Of course these differ in all our countries but now women’s rights are recognized as human rights that means we have a basic standard.
I hope IFUW members all over the world can help to get these rights implemented.
Thanks IFUW team for the new website & updates and active members for the on-line discussions, which I do follow but never enter.
Best wishes from Audrey Kühler-Oostra Amsterdam past CIR Netherlands Association VVAO.
Definately, this is more reader-friendly, a “must visit” site.
With all the modification and beautification, one is enticed to continue browsing and could remain on it for hours, (as i have been doing for two hours now). I have thus accessed parts of the website which I have hitherto not paid particular attention to, in all my years of membership.
Great job done, more grease to your elbows, IFUW Team.

The thrilling part of this new site is that it is easy to use (for both existing and new users). i think Kathleen was right when she said Anamaria and Réka have done an outstanding job
Anamaria and Leigh
The website update is super; very easy to navigate. Congratulations. The other half of the difficulty is getting people to come to see all the great resources — I’m trying at least every week mentioning that “you can find it on the IFUW website!”

Congratulations to A. Vere and R.Fogarasi for a great website. It’s an outstanding job. Well done you two!
It is a very user friendly website to all IFUW users as well as anybody interested with our Organisation.
I am very optimistic that our new website will be an influencial factor to bring new members.

Congratulations! It is a very user friendly set up,easy to look up whatever one wants to find, I have spent a lot of time looking at different parts, movement is so easy. Participating in discussion group has been made much easier than it was before. I am sure young and old, computer savvy and learners all will be able to make good use of our web site. I look forward to a lot of interaction and hope we will receive matter from our NFAs as well as Individual members regarding their activities, bringing us nearer each other with more understanding.

Congratulations to IFUW on a smart new website.
I like the new structure and find the information easy to get. It is important that IFUW’s four priority action areas are well presented as it is now.
I have a preference not to have to scroll on a home page. On the other hand it is good to have all the info up front. May be the picture area on the top could be smaller and show more different pictures?
Again – a clearer message on an improved website.

Congratulations on this is super new organization of the IFUW website. Anamaria and Réka have done an outstanding job.
This is certain to help bring in new members, and add inspiration for the current members to take action because of this greatly improved tool for information and connection.
